Having been lucky enough to live in Cape Town previously, it was a such a joy for me to work with India and Sue over at Rock Girl South Africa to train Sue on updating their WordPress powered site, change over the theme, and make some customizations to the design, architecture, and functions of the site.
When we began working together, their site was running on the Twenty Eleven theme by WordPress. We migrated to the Twenty Fourteen theme and added powerful plugins, such as SuperMenu for the navigation and Mailchimp for email subscriptions. After these changes were in place, we worked to integrate social media feeds and rearrange some of the content to showcase their Road Girls campaign.
